Lifetime Learning Instructors Needed!

Do you love to teach?
SOAR's Lifetime Learning program offers 8 - 10 week one hour courses to a very savvy, interested group of older adults. The courses are eclectic with offerings in music, language, current events, the law, art, creative writing, literature, history, etc. Classes are held on Monday mornings in both the fall and spring. Although many of our instructors come from teaching careers, some don't, but have an avid interest in a particular subject that they want to share. If you would like more information on how to become involved with this highly acclaimed program please contact us at
617-969-5906 x114 or send your course idea to:
SOAR, 492 Waltham Street, West Newton, MA 02451

"I am happy to report that Jong-Enn Park is now teaching English in South Korea. Her essay work was excellent. She telephones me regularly to keep in touch with me and my English. My other pupil, Yuki Mori, from Japan, was a beginner. She worked very hard. She has an excellent memory and improved considerably in her speaking skills. She, too, calls me regularly to keep in touch with the spoken English word. Both of these pupils were a joy and a delight and made me a very happy tutor. Their's is a great success story."
Sincerely, Sophie Danziger"
Benefits of Volunteering

SOAR volunteers are not paid, but sponsoring organizations may reimburse
